It’s important to ensure your job description matches what you are actually doing in your day-to-day duties, especially with the changing culture of the college, retirements, workloads, etc.
The Job Evaluation Manual explains how our current classification system works, including how positions are evaluated. The Manual is the joint property of the union and the employer, and is intended only for the use of community college management and employees. You can access the manual on the OPSEU website but you will need a password to read the document. To receive a password, send an e-mail to Naz Binck at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please identify yourself as a college employee by giving your name, job title, college, and OPSEU local number.
