Local 349 was proud to be represented at the College Support Part-Time, or CAAT-S PT, Pre-Bargaining Conference held May 2–3, 2026.
The Pre-Bargaining Conference is an important step in the provincial bargaining process for part-time college support staff. Under OPSEU/SEFPO’s College Support Part-Time procedures, the conference helps delegates review key issues, discuss priorities, and prepare for the next stage of local demand-setting and bargaining.
Delegates from across Ontario’s colleges also take part in elections for important provincial roles, including the CAAT-S PT Bargaining Team and Employee/Employer Relations Committee. These elected members help carry forward the priorities and concerns of part-time support staff from across the province.
Local 349’s participation ensured that Georgian College part-time support staff were present in these important provincial conversations. As the next round of bargaining takes shape, Local 349 remains committed to keeping members informed, engaged, and connected to the work happening across the CAAT-S PT division.
