What Is the Possibilities Fund?
The Possibilities Fund provides support for member‑supported projects that:
- Strengthen community connections
- Promote inclusion and well‑being
- Encourage collaboration, learning, or creativity
- Reflect the values of equity, solidarity, compassion, and community impact
Whether it’s a community event, wellness initiative, local partnership, learning opportunity, or a creative spark — the Fund exists to help turn meaningful ideas into action.
Are You Eligible to Apply?
Before getting started, make sure you meet the basic requirements:
- A support staff member in good standing with OPSEU Local 349
- Submitting one application per calendar year
- A first‑time applicant (priority consideration)
- Seeking support for a project up to $349
After completing your project, you’ll share:
- A brief write‑up
- At least one photo
This helps inspire future applicants and celebrates the work of our community.

🌿 Hope Community Garden
Nearly 400 kg of fresh produce grown, harvested, and shared with culinary labs, local charities, and the Georgian Food Locker. A powerful demonstration of sustainability, learning, and community care working together.
Clothing Locker – Winter Warmth Initiative
With PF support, the Clothing Locker expanded its supply of hats, scarves, mitts, and socks — ensuring more students stayed warm this winter. A meaningful reminder of how small contributions create big impact.
