Current FTSS Status
Status: Full-time support staff at Ontario colleges have voted to ratify a renewal collective agreement.
During a five-day ratification vote, concluding on November 4, 2025, 75 per cent of the union membership voted, with 89 per cent in support of the terms of the new tentative agreement.

How bargaining works
Collective bargaining is how union members and the employer negotiate working conditions—things like wages, benefits, workload, job security, and workplace protections. The strength of bargaining comes from members staying informed, sharing priorities, and standing together throughout the process.
