Help a colleague who is not already a signed member complete their OPSEU/SEFPO membership application.
Once they have completed their application, email local349georgian@gmail.com with:
• Your name
• The name of the newly signed member
The email must be received by midnight on November 30, 2026.
New memberships will be verified by members of the Local 349 Executive Committee before the extra ballots are awarded. Please remember that OPSEU/SEFPO may require several days to process a new application.

Official Contest Rules
1. Eligibility
The contest is open to all signed members in good standing of Local 349.
A signed member is someone who has completed their OPSEU/SEFPO membership application.
Under Article 6.3 of the OPSEU/SEFPO Constitution, a member remains in good standing provided they are:
- Not more than three months in arrears in payment of dues;
- Gainfully employed in a bargaining unit for which the Union holds or seeks recognized bargaining rights; and
- Not suspended or expelled from membership in good standing by decision of the Executive Board under Article 7.4.
2. Contest Period
The contest begins November 1, 2026, and ends November 30, 2026.
3. How to Enter
All signed Local 349 members in good standing will automatically be entered into the contest.
Signed members in good standing may earn additional ballots by:
November Drop-In — 5 ballots
Attend and sign in at either the in-person or virtual November Drop-In.
Sign Up Another Member — 10 ballots
The person being signed up must not already be a signed member.
The new member must complete their OPSEU/SEFPO membership application. The referring member must then email local349georgian@gmail.com with their own name and the newly signed member’s name by midnight on November 30, 2026.
New memberships will be verified by members of the Local 349 Executive Committee before additional ballots are awarded.

4. Prizes
Four prizes will be awarded to four eligible Local 349 signed members in good standing.
Grand Prize: Two-night stay in the Stargazer Dome at Glen Oro Farm for two people. Approximate value: $1,100.
Second Prize: Snow Tubing at Snow Valley for four people. Approximate value: $250.
Third Prize: Escape Room at Trapped in Barrie for four people. Approximate value: $160.
Fourth Prize: Dining gift card valued at $100.
Dates associated with the Grand, Second and Third prizes will be determined based on availability and the preference of the prize winner.
No cash substitution will be permitted.
5. Winner Selection & Notification
Winners will be selected by random draw following November 30, 2026, once OPSEU/SEFPO has processed the outstanding membership applications required to verify contest entries.
Winners will be notified using the non-Georgian email address provided on their OPSEU/SEFPO membership application.
The winners will also be announced through the Local 349 Facebook group.
